Shipping policy
For EU & UK orders, please see item #1 below.
All domestic items have the option to be shipped via USPS or UPS. All items are made-to-order, unless specified as ready-to-ship. Items ship between 5 to 15 business days from date of purchase -- please refer to individual item descriptions for a more specific manufacturing timetable. Custom orders (i.e. items that are agreed upon to be altered in some specific way) may take an additional 2 weeks to ship. Basic USPS shipping is First Class which takes 3-5 business days, but expedited shipping options are available if you need the item sooner. If you are working with a tight deadline, please make sure to contact us and let us know so we can expedite your order! We would hate to miss your special date!
International orders can also be shipped via USPS or UPS, depending on your selection. Basic international shipping is First Class International Shipping, but expedited options are also available. International orders vary widely in delivery times. If you are purchasing a gift internationally and you have a specific date you need your order to arrive, it is always a good idea to allow for an additional 4 weeks, beyond the 5-15 business day manufacturing time, for delivery.
All items are shipped boxed and ready to gift! *All packaging is biodegradable and recyclable. Items come in an eco-friendly and attractive cardboard jewelry box with care instructions. Items also come with an unbleached cotton keepsake pouch.
*some expedited methods of shipping require plastic packaging, unfortunately.
A couple of notes regarding international orders:
1) If you are looking to have items shipped to the UK or the EU, you can still do so from our shop on Etsy: metalclothandwood.etsy.com Unfortunately, due to recent changes in customs laws, we are unable to process any orders going to the UK or the EU using this website at this time.
2) Some countries may charge customs taxes or fees when the order arrives. It will be the responsibility of the recipient of the package to pay these fees, so it's always best to check with the local postal office before purchasing to avoid any unpleasant surprises — especially if your order is intended as a gift!
